Promised for week of February 28, 2010
Padre Nuestro perdónanos por tener la osadía de culparte por todas las muertes y daños que nosotros mismos causamos. Si en verdad nos amaramos los unos a los otros las muertes causadas por la guerra ¡no existirían!; las muertes causadas por el hambre ¡no existirían!; las muertes causadas por la pobreza ¡no existirían!; las muertes causadas por la ignorancia, la discriminación y el odio ¡no existirían!
Así también, si obedeciéramos tu mandamiento de amarnos los unos a los otros, innumerables otras causas de muertes y daños ¡no existirían!
Padre Nuestro, tu Hijo clavado en la cruz antes de morir exclamo “¡perdónalos Señor pues no saben lo que hacen!” Su infinito amor nos insta a amarnos más, a creer, a tener fe y a perdonar; pues es cuando amamos que somos amados, y es cuando perdonamos que seremos perdonados. Por la resurrección de Cristo Jesús creemos y tenemos fe; es cuando creemos que nuestros rezos llegan al cielo, y gracias a la fe resucitaremos contigo.
Padre Nuestro, Juan Pablo II el pastor que tiene el corazón lleno de amor, el alma llena de perdón y fe en la palabra, caminó entre nosotros proclamando Tú Verdad. Somos testigos de su peregrinación por la tierra. Anhelamos que Juan Pablo Bendito interceda por nosotros y eleve esta plegaria ante Ti:
Santísimo y Glorioso Padre Celestial, Hijo y Espíritu Santo que Eres un solo Dios, cura el cáncer que aflige a Elena, ella es la luz que nos enseño a rezar, a amar y perdonar. Ella es la guía espiritual de nuestra familia, la compañera de nuestros rezos diarios, ¡la necesitamos Señor! Por la salud de Elena, Te rogamos y Te imploramos en nombre del Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo que eres un solo Dios por los siglos de los siglos Amen.
Our Father, forgive us for being so conceited as to blame you for all the damage and death that is of our own doing. If we truly loved one another deaths brought upon by war would cease to exist! Death caused by hunger and poverty would cease to exist! Death caused by ignorance, discrimination and hate would cease to exist! In the same manner uncountable other causes of deaths and damage would cease to exist, if only we loved one another!
Holy Father, your Son, before dying on the Cross exclaimed: “forgive them Lord for they know not what they do!” His unending love inspires us to love each other more, to have faith and to forgive. It is because we love that we are loved in turn and, when we forgive we are forgiven. Because of the resurrection of Jesus we believe and have faith, because when we believe our prayers are heard in heaven, and thanks to our faith we will resurrect before you.
Holy Father, John Paul II, the shepherd with a heart of love, a soul of forgiveness and words of faith, walked in our midst proclaiming Your Truth. We are witness to his presence on earth. We long for his intercession and ask that he raise this prayer before you:
Holy and Glorious Celestial Father, Son and Holy Spirit, One God, cure the cancer that afflicts Elena, she is the light that taught us to pray, to love and to forgive. She is the spiritual guide of our family, the companion to our daily prayers; we need her Lord! We plead this in the name of The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit one God forever and ever, Amen.
